Joseph Mack is a Florida and Maryland attorney who focuses his practice on consumer protection. After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law with Honors, Joe clerked for a judge on the Maryland Supreme Court. He then worked at one of Maryland’s most prestigious and largest law firms. After spending a few years working for large companies fighting other large companies at that firm, Joe decided that he instead wanted to spend his career fighting injustice, representing the little guy being trampled by powers too big to fight without help. Joe has done that since, both in private practice and in a legal services organization called Civil Justice, where he worked his way up to heading the organization. Joe left Civil Justice in 2018 to start his own law firm to continue to fight for injured consumers. He and his family moved to South Florida in 2019. Joe is now a member of both the Maryland and Florida bars, and he handles cases in both states.
Joe has conducted numerous state and federal jury and bench trials, been involved in multiple appeals in state and federal court, including primarily authoring a brief that was also signed by Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh, and conducted trainings for other attorneys on consumer law. He has been asked to speak to the Maryland state bar about access to justice issues and has authored op-eds regarding consumer law.
